Great location in the Old Town, quirky decor, and a very...

Great location in the Old Town, quirky decor, and a very kind and attentive staff. As a family traveling with two children, we found both the rooms and the location met our needs nicely. As a bonus, the staff is connected to a travel company, so they could, if needed, help to facilitate other experiences in and around the city.

The only thing we noted that we weren't happy with was the water pressure. We were on floor 7, and the shower was just a trickle. That said, everything else was stellar.

Beautiful traditional house. Very comfortable room. Central location. Very helpful staff. We are very happy to be going back to stay there in 2 weeks!

Centrally loceted, nice people, extraordinary "Pho", highly recommended.

Charming place, very familiar, the Pho for breakfast is a must! Located in the very center of the old town, owners very nice and helpful, highly recommended. Would certainly come again.

We loved the friendly and helpful staff, homey and historic charm of this hotel, especially the antique bicycles and scooters. Lovely little rooftop garden, too.

The staff was extremely helpful with directions, recommendations, transportation, making calls.

The antique décor and bamboo furnishings were very nice; unique ambiance. The antique motorbikes, typewriters, and other items were very interesting. Great location in the heart of the Old Quarter. Can walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, the water puppet theater. We walked all over, to the French Quarter, Temple of Learning and museums, only took a taxi to/from the airport.

Occasional wait for hot water.

Just lovely!

Lovely small family business! The staff made our stay extra special, they were so kind and helpful from storing our luggage after checkout to booking us a free car to the airport. The breakfast was great (especially the Pho!) and the location perfect right at the centre of the Old Quarter. Would definitely stay again on our next visit to Hanoi!

The bathroom wasn't the best it could be. The bathtub was quite old and leaky and the water temperature kept changing from cold to really hot. The water pressure wasn't the best either but maybe it was only cause we were on the top floor?

So friendly and relaxing

I really like this hotel. It’s not for people who want modern facilities. But I find it charming. Enjoy the breakfast you choose from a menu. Large room. Family atmosphere. Location but also really quiet. Was here bedsore. Will be back again.

Stoppers intub and sink didn’t work. Door. Could use a dead bolt or chain For extra security.

A place to put down your head.

The room was poorly maintained and not very clean (see photos). We travelled across Vietnam and found other hotels for the same price that were exceptionally clean, tidy and well maintained- this was a bit disappointing.

Rooms quite old. Expectation were higher. It's not dirty, but you don't have an idea of clean and shining. Breakfast below average.

Good value hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter

Great location in the heart of the Old Quarter. Easy to walk to the nearby sights. Rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even letting us leave our luggage with them when we went on an overnight trip to Halong Bay. Limited choice for breakfast, but tasty. Good value.

The taxi to pick us up from the airport was too small. I had specifically mentioned we were 4 people with 4 cases. We could only fit 3 cases in the boot, and had to drive into the city with one on our laps in the back seat which was not comfortable. However, this was rectified on the way back as they ordered a 7 seater for us.
